Hello. I'm looking for ideas for chair yoga standing poses that add some variety beyond the typical ones that I'm usually using. Here are my go to: W1, W2, W3, extended side angle, goddess, triangle, tree pose, star pose, standing sun bird, downward facing dog, standing sun salutation. Of course what I use depends on my students abilities and I will use standing behind the chair, to the side or face the chair seat depending on students' ability. I know I have listed a lot of poses, but these are my go to (not all in one class of course) and I'm sure I have missed a couple. Looking to add some new items to standing poses or standing sequences if anyone has any ideas. I did a hip strengthening & mobility sequence and students loved that. So, hoping to get some ideas to inject some new ideas for standing poses/sequence/s into my chair yoga classes. I would say standing poses are usually 10 min in my chair yoga classes.
