Gram Oh Gram, your message touched me so deeply. I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother. To know that you and your sisters have been doing “a Sherri” with her every morning for the past five years is such an incredible gift for me to hear.

And that you shared this practice and Long Time Sun with her on her last day of life... I hardly have words. What a beautiful, loving way to be together and accompany her on that final journey.

Thank you for letting me be a small part of your family's mornings all these years, and for sharing this tender moment with me. I will carry your mother, you and your sisters in my heart. And the next time I hear Long Time Sun, I will think of all of you. 💜

Hi Jake!!!! I can’t tell you how much your message touched me. I could picture your little yoga studio in Aitkin, the sign-up sheet on the wall, the iPad and video screen, and this wonderful group of women who have become family to one another. It sounds so much like my Yoga Vista Studio days!  And please wish your 89-year-old yogi a very happy birthday from all of us at Yoga Vista!

What Lara has created sounds very special. A place where people know the door code, look out for one another, celebrate together and show up for each other through health and family challenges—that is so much more than a yoga studio. That is community in the truest sense.

And I absolutely love knowing that when a teacher can’t be there on Monday, you bring Yoga Vista into the room and the class goes on. I will be sure to tell Justine that she has a fan club in Aitkin! I know that will mean a lot to her.

But I think what made me smile the biggest was imagining all of you dancing together every Tuesday and Friday, laughing and moving and having fun. That is exactly why I have always believed so strongly in bringing joy into movement. And perhaps some of those dancers who are curious about Chair Yoga will discover that there is a whole other journey waiting for them there, too.

After so many years of teaching and creating, messages like yours remind me that we never really know where this work will travel or whose lives it will become part of. To think that Yoga Vista has found its way to a small studio in Minnesota and is helping your community keep moving when you need us is an extraordinary gift to me.

Louise T. Hi Louise!  Yes, this song is very hard to find.  We had a special license for it when we recorded a Chair Yoga Dance DVD but I don't seem to find it anywhere for purchase.  Sorry.  I am glad you enjoyed it.  Love, Sherry
