Hi Michelle! Tight hamstrings are common. Lots of sitting doesn't help. What helps is patience and daily gentle stretching, which I know can feel quite boring. You've got your strength and balance down👍👍.. so just invest in a few more minutes per day for your flexibility! It'll help with your joint health. You're doing great!
We were granted a temporary license for Nirinjan's version of the chant which has expired. When used on YouTube, it requires commercial ads to be played in order to pay for the music license and it was quite disruptive for many. Luckily, we were granted permission to use the Alzheimer's Research and Prevention (ARPF) soundtrack with no music royalties and replaced the soundtrack on YogaVista.TV and soon that version will be available on YouTube with no ads. Yes, we have decisions to make and I hope you understand the issue. We honor the artist's rights to royalties and appreciate the ARPF gift that provides no-ad viewing Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome Cheryl! As a teacher myself I was very impressed with the concept of ankles farther back from the knees to give them more mobility for standing. In our trainings we were always taught ankles under knees not behind. So i love Brian's anatomy lesson for the reasoning!
