Hi Carol! I am sorry to hear about your broken ankle. But be assured that your bones will heal well given time. I suggest you follow your doctor's orders about the timeframe for weight bearing exercises. But, in the meantime, Chair Yoga is a great option to keep your body moving, your heart pumping and your lungs expanding to bring in that oxygen you need for healing. When we move our body in all different ways, it works the heart and lungs which are important for bringing nutrients to the areas of the body that need healing and repairing. We have tons of Chair Yoga classes.. you can filter on just the ones that are "all seated" to start off with. Your body wants to heal. Stay optimistic. Sending some healing energy your way!
