Hi Kimberly! Thanks for asking such a good question. Does your sister know what her low back issue is? If she has disc damage that compresses the nerves, that can cause the burning sensation in her feet. I would suggest she start with the gentle mat classes where most of the time is spent on the floor rather than seated which could possibly aggravate her issue.
