Hi Jeanmarie!  Kudos to your family for making it work!  Every family dynamic is different, but the one thing we all have in common is the love and respect for our elders. A society that keeps that commitment to taking care of their elders will always be a society of love!!!!  And we need alot more LOVE in this world!!

Many blessings to you and your family!

Love,

Sherry

Hi Stephen and Meta!  We are sharing the same glorious season together!  Yesterday, I drove through the Metropark and it was eye candy all around!  The colors are at their peak and they infuse me with so much joy and gratitude!!!!

Sending you a big NE Ohio hug!

Thanks for your kind words Gretchen!  Way back when I was first taking Yoga classes at a local studio, I had a teacher that "explained the whys" of Yoga and I loved it.  I told myself that if I ever became a Yoga teacher, I would take that same approach.  Because I think we all want to learn about and understand how our bodies work and how we can help ourselves feel better through Yoga.  It is self-empowerment at its best.  So, thank you for noticing and appreciating my teaching style.

Many blessings to you!

Love,

Sherry

Hi Robin!

We are surely twin sisters from a different mother!  I know where you are at and you know where I am at, and we get it!  I'm so glad you are settling into your new chapter and sharing your gifts with others!  I look forward to sharing your Dances when you are ready:)

And thanks for your kind words.  I appreciate your joyful spirit my kindred sister!

Thanks Shelia!  I learned a long time ago that the emotion of JOY is always available to us.  It is independent of happiness and bliss. It is that effervescence of our life force inside of us. So, if I bring that out in you.... that makes me smile!!!

Sending a big hug out to you!

Sherry

Hi Gail!  Thanks for your blessings for my family.  It is truly appreciated. There is a great book by Dr. Seuss called "You're Only Old Once" and it reminds us that this adventure of growing old can be turned into anything we want.  So, enjoying the little things every day can be so heartwarming.  I am trying to remain in that space as I spend time with my elderly parents because one day I will be here as well (through the Grace of God of course!).

I'm so glad you enjoy my classes!  Thanks for your support.  I appreciate you!

Love,

Sherry

Hi Debra!

So nice to hear that you are serving those who have a similar situation as yourself.  We call that concept "wounded healers" .  We try to help those where we have been touched.  My uncle and now my dear cousin have dealt with Parkinson's and I can see how beneficial Yoga can be for building core strength to help with balance and locomotion.

I am SUPER happy to hear you are sharing Chair Yoga Dances with your community.  Those little sprinkles of fun and joy are so needed in this crazy world today!  Keep on doing what you are doing!

Much love to you and those you serve!

Hi Marjorie!

I never meant to have fans, so it's a foreign feeling for sure.  I knew when I put that camera in the back of one of Chair Yoga classes many years ago that this work would touch more people.  I am honored to see how much it has helped so many.

Being with my parents is very special.  I don't think I can get them to participate in a Chair Yoga class, however.  They are very private people and barely know what I do! in my "work" life!

Thanks for your kind words for support!  Sending you a big hug to the East Coast where I know it must be so beautiful now with the Fall colors!

Love,

Sherry

Thanks for your kind words Linda!  We have been fellow teachers together for a long time and I treasure our mutual love for Yoga and teaching!!!  Yes, I am enjoying the simple things in life just being with my parents and siblings in my hometown.  Life is slower here and it feels good.  Sending you lots of love and blessings!
